Here is a post I put on the PRWT thread a while back. I am really tired of hypsters, and bashers. Most do not fall in either category, but tend to lead to one side or the other. Most like to join the cheerleading, while others just look for any possibility of negativity.

If you go to the GM thread, you won't see this type of behavior, why, because GM is a long established company with all of its history right out there. anyone who would chant "Go GM" or "this stock is a scam" would just be looked at like they were a lunatic. If TNRG were a private company and you happened to walk by their offices in New York, you might stroll in and say "what do you do?"
A secretary would hand you the same information on the web site. Would you jump all over her? No, you would not, because people just don't walk up to businesses and demand they prove their existence.
Now, TNRG is a public company. That means it can be split up into little pieces, and anyone can buy those shares. Being public doesn't mean that they then have to bend over and let everyone examine every square inch of them. No company, and I repeat No company will speak candidly about every single detail of their operation. It just isn't good business. The more successful a company gets, the harder it is to get news out of them. Ever phone up microsoft " Hi can I speak to bill...just tell him it is isoman from SI, he'll take my call......Ok Bill, what's going on, where in Seattle are you really!!!"
So you want information on a company you may be invested in, or thinking of investing in.
GOOD
Ask questions from those that know, like Tilton, like fith Avenue, like Signature. Then, once you receive answers, check into them, try to establish it as a fact.
But to come on a totally anonomous message board and just ask people who could have any motive under the sun questions (Hype or Bash) is just ridiculous. Why ask people who are not on the iside if TNRG is infringing on patents with the tracker the day the press release comes out. Why ask people if a controlled flood will affect the mall. Why insinuate that the mall does not exist because anyone could take pictures of a shopping scene.
Anyone could take pictures of the Coca cola plant in china too.
Here is the catch. If tilton puts it in a press release, and it is a lie...it is fraud. And contrary to popular belief, the SEC and the FBI do examine every press release, especially those in the otc, the pink sheets, and the Vancouver, and alberta exchanges.
I would not be surprised to find out that the fbi has several accounts right here on SI too.
The point is that a fool and his money are soon parted. I save my tough hard questions for the company itself. I hammer the presidents and IR people who are running and promoting the company. I don't listen to anyone claiming "The next netscape " or "The next BRE-X" |
