Y'all know these things, don't ya? That's why the Dellheads are rich.
From the Washington Post Business, 7/1
Michael Dell, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dell Computer is worth about $10 billion, but doesn't brag about his wealth.
---
and The New York Times, 7/1
Lately, Americans, along with a growing mass of foreigners, have placed their bets largely on companies like Dell Computer, one of the hottest stocks of the decade. And despite its rocket-like rise, Dell has gained another 121 percent this year, pushing its market value to $58 billion -- more than that of General Motors Corp.

You have to take the YTD performance into account when making comments about DELL's performance. To say that DELL is "lately" a market performer is certainly a SHORT viewpoint. "Lately" DELL is up $10 from my perspective- hardly a poor performance. Year-to-date, DELL is flying high- hardly poor performance, either.
