we have a little game going on playing the SPX cash

Dale set up the game because people were always talking about their moves or their predictions...so he decided to put it to the test

not sure what they are doing with the scoring..if they are starting over and leaving a cumulative score as well...etcetcetc...S.T. is trying to find a way to automate it

here is a clarification on Lastshadows pre holiday effect when I asked him about his comment yesterday saying he didnt expect today to be up...

this is not quite what I had in my mind for putting all off that together

Pre Holiday Effect:

This one requires a little logic explanation...in order for the pre holiday Effect to be valid,
the stocks would normally be depressed in price those two days so that buying them
then and holding, or selling just before close on the 2nd day one would make profit.

If the market were up, the equities would be higher priced, and therefore less likely to
be able to buy at a local minimum. The prices generally won't start moving up until the
last hour of each day, and moreso on the last day as short sellers back out their postions
to hedge against good news over thelong weekend.

I am very convinced that the pre holiday effedct will be in place, and intend to go long
on both day trades and at least one more add to the Postion Trading Account on Friday
morning.
