i have been up too long.. but in a nutshell.
doing a conv subordinated then a junk bond to "buy back shares" or ??
what happens if the HOnts just converted to push the stock price down (thru sales), cover shorts, then possibly pushing the price up temporarily(by buying a little) and selling balance into the rally.
thus making a bundle on the converts, the shorts, and the extra that they will sell into the "rally", and interest on top of what money is owed them thru the non-converted notes.
this is a vicious financial game. i prefer having "HOnts" as owners of the stock. As it is this stock never sold on earnings, there could be potential, but this company has had more than adequate time to get this stuff together.
so i am sort of bearish, but also under water.. and confident in knowing that I do not know what is behind door # 1 or door #2.
one last question.
why is this company having SH meetings i such posh places??
and when are they moving their offices out of NYC.
taxi
