Hype being defined as deception or deceptively inflated advertising or promotion. I don't really see that going on here... but then again, I may be wrong... if I am wrong, I assume that you will be able to provide multiple examples of such activities on this thread? A valuation model would be a "tool" to be used against target price hype, I would guess. My latest recollection of such a discussion was one in which someone refused to speculate about the target price when asked. That hardly qualifies as hype. I don't believe that your "tool" is needed here. Lazarus
