Although we didn't have a second hole wonder to back up CZ9708, I am moderately encouraged by the results of this season's first returns. The fact that the geologists believe they are drilling in the periphery of the main deposit lends hope that additional drilling this season will return much better results.

As to the motivation for siting these holes, "away from the action." as Fixer points out, I hesitate to conclude that it was a stalling action by management, since I feel they want as badly as do we to get the share price up. It is encouraging to see the continued accumulation of shares that took place yesterday (again over 300,000 shares) just prior to the news. Somebody must feel pretty strongly about Antares future success, or why the continued buying?

It is time to look forward to the next set of holes. Hopefully the first holes of this season will enable siting over more prospective ground.

It appears there could be some serious gold in the Toodoggone. Let's pray that the mother lode can be found before the money runs out. And what about the other metals, Cu, Zn, Pb, etc? Will their presence be significant?
