I would trade 10 PRNewsWire press releases for one Dow Jones report. I have noticed that the routine press releases do not even get reported by DJ until late in the day. However, every piece of "investment quality" news gets picked up by DJ early in the day before PRNewsWire gets the piece posted. If the data are significant, then Reuters and DJ will carry it, and if not then the company hype won't help.
