Correction Raymond,
I am not putting other's words over Jesus' words. I believe that the bible is inspired by God himself, therefore, all words are God's and since Jesus is God, all words are in fact Jesus' words. HEY, NOW WE CAN END THE DISCUSSION BECAUSE THIS PROGRESSION OF LOGIC AS YOU WOULD LIKE IT SHOWS THE TRUTH.
Raymond, unless you believe that the bible contains the word of God then you will never believe what the bible is teaching. For that I know NOTHING I say can change your mind. but, the Holy Spirit can do this and as you continue to read the bible, the Spirit will work in you. You seem very knowledgeable and intelligent and that to many degrees is tough on you because you can't just relax and believe, but that is what you must do. Like a child. I know, it seems foolish but the cross is foolishness to this world but This World is not what I am concerned with. :o)
