Peter,

I saw the article and a related article about the new HK airport. What I thought was interesting was that Nike has pushed backed its forecast of asian recovery to June of 1999 and in the article about the airport it said that HK recovery looked to be 2 to 3 years off.
I wonder what US money managers are thinking with their net purchases of Japanese stock? Do you think SEA markets are at a bottom and will just scrape along for 1 to 2 years or could the markets go higher (lower). I think I am done printing my own poor forecasts as I previously did not take into account political intervention and thought the Yen would continue to go up causing C and HK to devalue. Zeev and others had much better analysis.
