Lee,

I guess I should be careful what I wish for...

The only question I have is why does it take these knuckleheads so long to realize what is obvious? Why not act quickly and decisively 6-12 months ago instead of dragging out a process that was clearly inevitable to an *outsider*. I also do not like to see a press release where the guy running the business suggests what a tough year its been. Thomas should have seen these events coming and if he didn't he was kidding himself. These guys have been trying to hire a significant number of guys for the CT business, and have only hired a handful in the last quarter. IMO this management group better accelerate their CT efforts and build the appropriate infrastructure quickly or somebody else will do it for them...If Thomas thinks this year was tough, wait until next year.. if this company does not begin to radically accelerate its business partnerships and sales of CT products, SOMEBODY ELSE WILL...These guys new the CT products were in development for a long time and they still lacked the infrastructure to run a business once the products were completed. The next thing they are going to tell us is that they wont be able to grow the CT business fast enough to offset the decline in Lantastic. That would make me very upset. Especially when I have not seen any announcements with respect to additional business partnerships, OEM deals, increases in sales staff etc. Sometimes I think these guys think they are running a marathon and they can pace themselves, WAKE UP GUYS..THIS IS A 50 YARD DASH....
With respect to your comments about insider purchases equating to confidence with management, be careful on your read. I am dismayed that I have not seen ANY CORPORATE PURCHASES. I have not seen a purchase by the CHAIRMAN, GOLDRESS..The CEO THOMAS, or any board member. I would certainly like to see these guys EAT THEIR OWN COOKING. IMO the company should accomplish the following:
1)SELL LANTASTIC
2)HIRE SOMEBODY WITH SIGNIFICANT CT EXPERIENCE TO HELP MANAGE THE GROWTH OF THE CT BUSINESS
3)ADD AT LEAST ONE BOARD MEMBER WITH A STRONG CT BACKGROUND
4)AGGRESIVELY PURSUE ALLIANCES WITH MAJOR TECH COMPANIES
5)DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO ACCELERATE THEIR TECHNOLOGICAL LEAD WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS THEY HAVE INTRODUCED.
6)FIGURE OUT HOW TO ACCELERATE SALES OF THE PRODUCTS TODAY OR SELL THE BUSINESS TO SOMEONE WHO CAN.
