It IS "handing" the money to them, and it is necessary. It's a way to lure and compensate higher skilled staff, especially to a small company. Hell...... How about the heads of big companies, such as Time and Disney, having gotten bonuses close to $100 million? Anyway, here's hoping for a fairly decent, upcoming earnings report.
