So then you tell me, what do YOU BELIEVE?
As a Muslim, I believe that Christians have access to the truth within the scriptures. I believe that the Bible has been altered and changed by man and this is evident by the many errors and contradictions.
That is to say some of the books of Bible are not from God, nor were they inspired by God (compare the opening of the Book of Jonah to the Book of Luke).
What part of the bible do you use in your life because you are quoting it back to me in defence of your position
In my life I use none of the Bible. I use the Qur'an (and in case you haven't heard me say, I can prove that it is from God without a doubt). I'm using the Bible here to demonstrate a few things. One is the errors. Two is the inconsistency that many Christians apply to the sayings of Jesus. I can't use the Qur'an since no one here believes in the Qur'an. So I use your own book, your own text to show the inconsistencies and errors.
For example, some may cite Jesus is equal to God because he performed many Miracles. The problem is they don't apply that belief to all people who did miracles just as Jesus (Elijah for example). Some believe Jesus is God or the son of God because he had no human father. Again, they fail to apply that to all when they fail to admit that Adam neither had father nor mother. Are we to believe that he is also God and the son of God?
What I have proven here before is that belief in the Trinity must stop short of the Church. That is to say, no one can prove the trinity by using Christian Text. It is a christian innovation that must stop short of the Church since you will not find scripture supporting that view.
I have on many occasions asked people here what they think about the errors and contradictions in the Bible. I never get an honest answer. I don't even get an answer. Most say, "They dont exist" but fail to even examine the very verses I point out.
I believe that Jesus is from God's spirit (As All Muslims do) and believe that he will return (as all Muslims do). But I believe Jesus (Pbuh) will stand among his true followers - the followers that kept the commandments as he stressed time and time again. Paul abolished them while Jesus (Pbuh) said you must keep them. Who are you going to believe?
