Next announcement likely to be JunQ report and cc.

Well, the Jun Q report will likely be out in about 5-6 weeks; it must be issued by August 15 to be in compliance with SEC regs. We'll probably get another conference call before then. This is what happened last year (check the thread for the comments at that time).

Valence has had conference calls in February, mid-May, late June, and now will likely have their next by early August. They now seem to be having conference calls every six weeks; this is a lot of communication.

In the June 30 cc, Dawson said he's expecting purchase orders from customers in the next 60 days, and volume shipments in September. These projected milestones are consistent with the timeline I laid out after the last conference call. Therefore, I wouldn't expect a contract order announcement until the JunQ report and call in early August at the earliest. More likely is a contract announcement in late August or early September.

OTOH, I expect we will get an announcement regarding financing well before then. I could wish for better timing, but these appear to be the most likely times these various announcements would hit. The financing announcement could give sellers one more reason to bail, and I expect some wannabe buyers won't buy until after they hear the financing terms.

There are two more likely events that will expose prospective shareholders to info about the company. The proposed (and long delayed visit to NI by analysts) could be a market mover, and this should happen in the next 4-6 weeks. My guess is that Valence will delay until after installation of the second coater in two weeks, and then want to conduct full system runs in NI before inviting analysts.

The other event is some kind of announcement on the Hanil JV status, and who knows when this will come? But I wouldn't hold my breath on this one until September/October timeframe.

I've been holding this stock for a long time, and now I have my largest position ever. I think we're close, but still have at least one more tough announcement (financing) to get through, before the really good news hits.

All this is my opinion and intrepretation of the cc comments.
