<< the lack of performance seems to be across the board .. AWRE, PAIR, ORCTF WSTL>>

I think you are looking at a very small time span. If you will look at the charts from the time WSTL lost JPC to ALA at tops and buttoms if my memory serves me right you'll see following:

- AWRE went from spinoff $16 -> $9 -> $16 -> $9 now $12.
- ORCTF from spinoff $15 -> $8 -> $18 -> $12 now $20
-WSTL from $50 -> $9 -> $26 -> $13 now $9
-ALA from $17->$30-> $25 -> $35 now $40
- PAIRas well as ADTN were always HDSL companies and only recently PAIR began conversion into ADSL competitor.

I realize that to place ALA in the same table is unfair, nevertheless it is obvious WSTL is the worst player in ADSL group. It might be a dream of a trader, but not investor. BTW in MHO what was the worst fundamental for WSTL it's their either ignorance or lack of resources in migrating to DMT standart. It might be the reason for GTE contract with ORCTF, BEL's doubts about going alone with WSTL's CAP.
