Seth, I think you know that many are feeling a bit of anxiety in all the waiting. Possibly many feel that this company has what, about 60 days or so left to pop this price in accordance with the provsional status, or else they (FTEL) just blew alot of cash and time, and lost some investor confidence. In part, maybe that's true. Comments?
And I will admit, I have seen some postings that I'll label as bordering on "irrational exuberance". But even though, it's hard to keep my rationalizations in check, since I've been following for a couple years now and have been proxy witness (how's that one?) to how far they've come.
I have been with small companies that have turned big, so I can understand that timeframes need to be flexible. Sometimes, announced dates can be missed, barely made and others only made in definition only.
At this point, I am basing my investments (which I've increased by about 40% or so over the last month) on the following:
1) The general progess the company has made since I've been watching.
2) Buswell, Kuykendall, et al for were NOT brought in to WLV to paint!
3) In reading the logs that Jack and Cindy post (BTW, ongoing thanks to both for doing this) I firmly believe the MM's are keeping their foot on this puppy to fill _large_ orders negotiated in advance.
4) "Best of show" awards are not handed out like salty peanuts at the bar.
5) Volume has slowed. People have placed their bets, waiting for the gate to open.
The people who have been following the longest are probably the people who call WLV and have built the greatest rapport with the folks. Althought they may not be "inner circle", they are the ones with the most relative knowledge, and may happen to be more heavily invested than the rest of us. Perhaps they are professional investors, and know the better questions to ask. It is only normal to want to listen to these people and give more weight to their opinions.
I guess the smart thing for everyone to do is take a deep breath, sit back, and let things play out. I can only suspect (overall) good things are happening. Focus on the generalities, not the specifics.
Now, if I could just take my own advice!
:-)
