Larry the less earnings a company has the more attractive it is for momentum players.

The reasoning is very simple losses can not dissapoint as the P/E is irrelevant. Secondly always you can predict what ever you want in the future there is nothing to relay on.

On CNBC was today a guy was telling a very sad story - e.g. house hold investments is at an all time high and any measure of fully invested institutions is also at an all time high.

Bill previously mentioned the VIX not budging yesterday and this is another bad sign.

My guess is that A.G. and the FED are doing a deservice to the economy, which is some what slowing by leaving the speculation buble intact.

Reality will sink in and then they will have very little room to do any thing meaning full similar to the S&L problem which lingered for several years.
