<<<Additions anyone ?>>>

I've been told from someone *outside* the company that Singapore does include Amati. Take it as rumor.

I've also heard rumblings of Swiss Telecomm with Philips which would be Amati as well. We know France Telecommunications has expanded trials so I'm watching there.

What about GTE, are they going to announce something soon? And our old friend, Telstra? I've all but given up on them.

Did anyone compare yesterday's CIR research stats with older stats? A quick comparison to the earlier DataQuest figures show them considerably higher now, but I'm not sure I was comparing apples to apples.

The comments by Sir Bonfield of BT were extremely positive. Did they get posted here?

I just paused to check AOL for the BT comment and saw a rumor that I've just checked with source. Vinik's buying. Same guy who broke the Soros rumor told me. He knows V's traders. According to him they may buy up to 5%. This will be easy enough to disprove since he'll have to register.

Again, these are all speculations. Ready, aim, fire. . . (putting bullet-proof vest on as I leave.) <g>

Regards,

Pat
