From the Biometrics In Human Services newsletter, TouchPass - NEC Technologies Inc. enters the biometrics market with its TouchPass product, a computer access control system that allows computer and network access by scanning and then recognizing authorized users' finger images. The system secures LAN, WAN and dialup connections using a Windows NT graphical identification and authentication module. TouchPass is scaleable from a single workstation to an enterprise-wide network. steve
