The key to short term success is that the PT-1 acquisition proves to generate just slightly stronger profits. The drastic declines in profits by other phone card companies over the last several months have sent their stock prices tumbling and therefore has affected the stock price of STRX. The major difference that PT-1 has over these other phone card companies is that 95% of PT-1's business is with low income primarily ethnic users that continually need to use PT-1's product. The other phone card companies primarily sell to businesses interested in using phone cards in their marketing campaigns and promotions. This will prove to be a significant difference. Once STRX reports earnings and demonstrates that the PT-1 acquisition strengthened profitability as well as broadened STRX's overall base, then wall street will once again embrace this company with a strong buy rating.

I also understand that Chris Edgecomb, CEO, is on the war path working on other significant transactions in the not so distant future. One other thought is that STAR could position itself to be be a serious takeover target once they have completed their European Network along with their wholesale and retail position in the U.S.

Don't be surprised if this stock is above $55 per share after they report earnings the first week of November.
