I believe LE's methodology is the right one. As you mentioned not everybody got in at a friendly price. Furthermore the Rocketeers are still hyping their stocks so any dates after the "public" got in, even today, is a good starting point. Should we judge the performance of a mutual fund using the dates that serve the fund company's marketing purposes?
