RE: Some advice: People who have to write books on investing, usually can't do it themselves. A perfect example is Manugistics - who I believe is mentioned extensively in the book. The key is to buy these stocks before they get discovered - in the ramp up part of the business cycle. Not after there is a thread on one of these message boards when everybody is talking about how much the stocks have gone up.

I'd argue that reading of the book shows that true gorillas will outperform the market for many years, and that even current day gorillas like MSFT, INTC, and CSCO should be considered as investments, in addition to gorilla candidates menitoned in the book like ITWO, MANU, VNTV, CLFY and SCOP (Now SEBL). So yes, the game is to get to these kinds of stocks early, but don't think it's too late to get into them, because as MSFT, INTC and CSCO can attest, these kinds of stocks have long legs.

I'm currently in ITWO, a gorilla candidate, and probably the leading gorilla candidate of those mentioned in the book. Yes, I'm in later than alot of others, but if ITWO becomes the gorilla of it's space there is still alot of upside.
