Here are the POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS on sertaline aka Zoloft:
"nervousness, trouble sleeping, headache, drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diahrrea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, dizziness, light headedness, or CHANGES IN SEXUAL FUNCTION" that last part about changes in sexual function is specifically refering to impotence which is a common side effect of most anti-depressants.
I have absolutely nothing against antidepressants for those suffering from a chemical imbalance (ie low brain serotonin). I much rather see a guy not depressed, alive and impotent. Most individuals who take antidepressants can slowly wean off them after one year of use. Now would it make sense to add Viagra to those already on anti-depressants? I think not but again another pill for another problem which was created by the first pill and the big pharmacies laugh all the way to the bank. |
