As one of the other respondents observed, it's Latin.
Literally it means: I came, I saw, I conquered.

Caesar (Gaius Julius) wrote it in his memoirs of the
French campaigns, Caesar as general. The first book
begins Omnia Gallia in tres partes divisa est,
meaning "All Gaul [France] is divided into three parts."

That's all I remember from Caesar. I slept through
the rest of Latin II. <GGG> Also I suspect I've misspelled
the quote, but so? It was from memory. Still a great
quote -- should survive even my spelling ...
