Folks,
These are the things I hear (not from the internet but people I at least semi-trust)
Broad Cove: There is supposed to be an offer on the table ($31 Mil). Suposedly VIKG will take the deal. Supposed to be out soon. We shall see. There is apparently some problem with the title. Might explain some of the questions/rumors about this deal.
VonRoll deal: Someone said that Dan E. said that there is a new CEO at VonRoll. Last week I told a friend that if this was a scam, then they would have to come up with some way to legally kill the deal. Today I find out there is a new CEO. That works for me. New CEO's tend to reverse old CEO's decisions. Is this true? Who knows. That we can at least verify though a VOnROll press release. Keep your eyes open. If I was running a scam I would not use an excuse like this that is so easily proven. If there is indeed a new CEO we are screwed. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: What do we have? As convoluted as the press release was I think I was able to figure this much out.
1) Original funding partner backed out of deal. Viking then had to find somebody else to back their venture. Someone caught wind of this and shorted the stock bagging a nifty profit and leaving shareholders holding the bag. They they need somebody to loan them money to get Juleon going, hire new emplyees and open offices.
2) Original European deal is off. Ohio plant and some other portions of European Division is still part of the deal. But what is the deal? Does Viking still get Ohio Plant and portions of division and remaining portions of division will work as partners with Viking? Can''t figure that one out. 125 million claimed in place for revised deal. I think we need proof of this.
3) Viking does not get 31 million for Broad Cove Porperty but 20 million. They get 4 million up front plus 2 annual payments of 1.5 million and a final payment of 12 million. Which leaves 1 million out of the 20 million unaccounted for.
4) What happened to EPI?
Linda, if you're reading this, please clarify. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: What have we got part II Date: Wed, Jul 1, 1998 20:06 EDT From: Jaeger8888 Message-id: <1998070200065600.UAA11286@ladder01.news.aol.com>
