Zeev,

You liked the last one so much here is another. <g>

Actually, as far as I know the term cogent means germaine and believeable and I believe her essays have some good points. Nevertheless I do not neccessarily endorse what she is saying and offer them up here as thought provoking material. I still want to cogitate on what she has said. I also suspect that time could change our perception of what she is saying. I grow increasingly uneasy with regard to the importation to the U.S. of the "Asian" economic crisis. A specific worrier is the recent acceleration in lay off announcements. For what it is worth I recently chatted with a client in San Jose and mentioned the imminent lay offs in Penang (RDRT and a couple of others I suspect will be announced soon). We shifted to the data storage layoffs that had occured in Sn Jose and he mentioned it was like releasinbg particles near a vaccum and was hardly noticeable. Everyone he knew who was personally affectd was almost immediately rehired at other companies. I doubt if the same can be said for other areas of the country. I am watching the employment figures very closely.

Best,
Stitch
