Wow-- followed ALL the way... Personally, I have a little 22 mag popgun next to me-- fend them off until I can get my Franchi 12 s/a with 00 buck. (I live in a house and don't care if I blow through walls.) I wish there was training-- I think most of us over 30 or so had our fathers who were in the military or a relative in the rural areas teach us about guns. Urbanization has take a lot of that a away-- no familiarity with guns other than the horror of gunshots in the night? I agree on the .30 06-- I was in Steamboat , CO skiing this winter and saw am original .30-06 (Winchester- ?) from 1878-- $2,800.00 and almost bought it... If the government was honest they would trust honest gun owners...
