Funny you should mention it. TO ALL: I was just over at the
AMAZON site, and I started reading the first posts, way back in 1997.
If you want some very interesting reading, now that you all know
what has happened to AMAZON, read some of those posts, and the folks that were saying it would never get off the ground and the second guessing of management, etc. etc. etc. Also they have a
"shorts" site there also which is also entertaining and enlightening.
We will be seeing the same comments here. Take a look, now that you have time. It may help one and all, by seeing the guesses, doubts, analysis of others, that were all off base. Its a great "hindsight" education. Thats one of the great things about SI. YOu can learn from the talk of others on stocks that went through the roof, and the discussions pro and con, before it took its meteoric rise. You may also see examples that the advances were based on "unknowns" that happened later. YADA, YADA, YADA. |
