I never claim to have been an expert in any area other than computers in which I can hold my own.. I know lots of people that don't know what a mouse is but have stock in DELL. #3 << Could you comment on the following. I thought I would share some facts with our fellow SGNC thread participants. Did you know it takes 12 years on average for an experimental drug to go from the laboratories to the actual approved use of the product? Did you know that only 5 in 5,000 compounds that enter preclinical testing make it to human testing? Did you know that only 1 of these 5 will get approved? Did you know that according to a 1993 report from the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment it costs on average $359 million to develop a new drug? Did you know that it takes about 8.5 years for a drug to get approved once it enters human clinical trials?>> oh poop.. I guess I'm selling.. #4 << Don't hype SGNC JimB you are not doing yourself a favor. What you need to do is show clearly the road ahead and how the company will perform. You need to build your credibility by demonstrating that you know the industry and telling investors about the risks and the rewards.>> I have no knowledge other than what I've learn as I go.. sometimes I invest in a company cuz the name rhymes with "Penguin"... Seriously though, people ask me what I'm investing in and I tell them. Up to them to decide "Jim is crazy.. that stock sucks.. " or "Hmmm the DD looks good.. I think I'll invest"... #5 <<Real investors don't want to be told that the stock will go up tomorrow because Forthright will cover his short position. They want to be educated and be put in a situation where they can understand the potential and clearly define and evaluate the risks.>> Never said it would go up because you're covering your short position. #6 <<SGNC will succeed or fail regardless of you. I do believe in "telling the story". It helps refinance at better terms, and we all know that biotech companies are capital hungry. But I object to your techniques and those of your colleagues. I object to you telling people not to do their homework. Don't insult people like that.>> Yep.. I have no control over stocks, news, or companies.. Have you ever read a TOP DOG email??? it says throughout it repeatedly to "do your own DD"... and "do what is right for you".. I say that stuff all the time.. don't want people buying cuz I am.. want them doing their own DD. #7 << As far as your suggestion that if YOU decided to do a valuation model people would take part in it, why don't we join forces and help your followers? How can you refuse to help your friends?>> Never said that either.. I said if the others decided to do one it would probably get a better result than you.
