Just in theory... is there any way that a training program could be mandatory before gun ownership without formal registration? Might be a good compromise. I'm not about to give up that right either, and I think that abuse of that right, though it does exist, is less extensive than some would like us to believe. I do think that visible efforts to control the irresponsible use of guns are one of the best ways to deflate the anti-gun propaganda. Steve
