Market Divination.

I'm surprised by our recent down spiral, but then, I'm
surprised we got this high to begin with. This is
exactly why I fail as a trader.

Anyway, a couple observations, for what they're worth:

- The average person, investing based off of formal
PR, has very little to go on with gmgc. No
deployment, no concrete revenue predictions, no
strong sense of reseller/carrier penetration. So
it probably isn't too surprising that we're
susceptible to this kind of mob action. There is
very little flooring underneath us until we
get deployment. This seems to be an inescapable
if unpleasant fact for the moment.

- People were obviously expecting news. I know I was.
In 20-20 hindsight, I should have expected GMGC would
take a very measured and pragmatic approach. Both
as amends for their past history as well due to Markman's
innate style. Over the long run, I think we'll greatly
benefit from this strategy. But, over the short run,
it has been pure kerosene for the fire.

These points seem to point to a short-term negative.

My solution is to go sailing and forget about it.

As an aside, has anyone checked the Yahoo board?
I don't often look at it, but I was curious
about their take on recent developments.
Discovered that, yikes! - the fiends of hell are loose.
Not a safe spot for an otter, so I slunk away
as quickly as possible. SI has its merits.
