BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1998--Coinstar Inc. CSTR announced today that it has substantially completed the installation of its self-service coin counting machines in 155 Stop & Shop supermarkets throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
These new installations push Coinstar's network beyond 4,000 machines, with operations in 32 states and 49 metropolitan markets. Coinstar has grown its network by more than 825 machines -- or 25 percent -- since January 1, 1998.
