Is it true that they are laying off the some of the salespeople? I hear the new sales manager is sharp and some of the sales staff really needed to go. I hope the layoff, if true, was targeted against those who were not pulling their weight rather than a simple company wide reduction in work force. Because they have been hiring sales staff recently, I would guess that is what is happening. Nothing like a targeted layoff to cut the deadwood and increase productivity.
