Firms that offer 10 to 1 commissions often expect a portion of your profits for trading "their" money. Don't fall for that trap. Trade your own money or paper trade until you can afford to trade. At 10:1, you are not only liable for your losses, but you are liable for losing "their" money too...

There was a Harbor Securities office in Sausalito, CA. It lasted less than 6 months; ironically, about as long as the San Francisco Block Trading office -- there are some very good Block offices though...
