...typical japanese investor buys tons of u.s. treasuries--better than their 1% returns w/o risk.

..they are presently bearish on their own market

....maybe if they can surge past 20K the jaspanese public will jump back in

.....we could still see japan drop the ball by fouling up the "bridge bank" scenarios, not permanently cutting personal and corporate taxes, or some other big mistake.

...that being said, i am long japan right now and will hold for a few years on these guys.
