Ausdauer, I read about the attempted Lexar acquisition in an on-line mag but I can't remember which. The deal was mentioned only once and briefly, as a part of a write-up on the Lexar lawsuit. I wish I could recall more.

IMHO, Lexar is the "big gun" because they have a vastly superior controller. When >1 megapixel images become the norm, >1MB/sec performance will be a requirement that SNDK can't currently meet. Kodak's earlier decision to buy 8MB cards from SNDK and 32MB cards from Lexar was telling.
