JP,

It appears that many times one takes a 'micro' view of the market and a stock instead of the 'macro' view.

IMHO, the Internet stocks have garnered a bit of the interest as they seem to be 'rocketing', and the money that might have gone into the 'hardware' or 'software' areas have been 'diverted' into the 'service' arena, at least temporarily. That is the way of the market, and in the past, investors will continue to 'move' their investment dollars around.

I think that DELL has made some really great advancements as they seem to be moving toward the large capacity systems and the next level of computer complexity. Nobody is surprised that CPQ and IBM is in that arena as they have been there for years. There is obviously a requirement for large sums of capital to 'get into' a new arena with more sophisticated equipment. I wonder if some of the $500mln that was 'borrowed' is being used for this effort? Just a thought!

OT OT OT

How's the new 'baby'? Sleeping through the 'night' yet? You take turns getting up to take care of the 'baby', or do you make your wife do it all?

Regards,

Ken
