Roger,
I stopped trading internet stocks (including AMZN early last week). I did manage some nice gains, but the valuation and market caps have come to very ridiculous level. I think that you guys are very smart and have long realized what a ridiculous game this is. However, I don't think that anyone has the ability to predict a top and the timeframe of a crash. I thought that AMZN blew through 100 presplit, the issue could go straight to 200. And now it's sitting at 230, why can't it go up to 300 before the crash? Or 500? VAULATIONS SIMPLY DOESNOT MATTER since no one is thinking about PE, PS, cash flow on these issues. When such a game is on, I just don't understand the rationale behind the minds of short sellers. I have repeated several times that short sellers will reap in big gains when no one is giving a damn about how AMZN rise 10 in a day and lose another 10 the following day.
Right now I am witnessing one of the craziest manias in this bull market. I just think that it's way too risky to get involved in both sides right now. If you are a professional shorters, you should learn from Barb and stick to crappy issues like ZITL, KRY, ZONA, LOCK, CFON,MARG......and make happy gains. You will have time to raise hammers on AMZN later.
good luck, larry! |
