Thats the whole point. There is nowhere else. This was the only country set up for individual
rights.


Individual rights need to be curbed. Name one political philosopher that doesn't feel that way, besides Machievelli.

Sandel, Rawls, McIntyre, Berger, Berlin, Nozick, Locke, Rousseau... all of them agree that we have the state to curb the largest threat to the retention of any given state: the will of the majority.

The dilemma of the libertarian party is that you believe in individuality, but you're only able to elect one official to the presidency. He will have his own ideas and beliefs on how to deal with issues that you will not agree with, and you will consider him a tyrant. It is a dilemma that will plague us for centuries.
