Pat,

I"ve never heard anyone refer to the enterprise market as being a space where
cheap goods were sold. Nor have I ever heard anyone say NN's products weren't
carrier class or robust. Newbridge is carrier class. That's the way they designed
their products and that's the way they market them. Terry Matthews, CEO, comes
from a telecommunications' background --- got his start at BT --- and if he's been
criticized, it's for having products that were too robust.

Okay, if you will, this is just my opinion. It appears you are a Newbridge shareholder, and I don't mean to step on any toes. But if you look at the price ranges for ATM switching equipment, Newbridge is usually at the bottom of the list. Newbridge products are too robust??? I wonder where you get that, since many of my technical colleagues have horror stories to tell about Newbridge. I guess every brand has its fans--even the Yugo's of the car world. For the starving college student, the Yugo is a great value. For others, it's cheap.
