Buck,

I have been watching the comments among all the participants on this thread. Your reality response is accurate to a point. All the things you point out are true however thay lack one fundamental ingrediant. No activity is being taken by the management of IDX to also form a positive alliance with the share holders. No profits are going to the bottom line. It is the share holders of the company that allow all the activity you mentioned to accure. We are all in this to make money period. What I see is a company that has reached a plateu and can not get beyond it. This is usually a direct reflection of the CEO's method of thinking. There are three things that ring true with this type of company that I have seen time and time again. History always repeats its self, with the same CEO you get the same direction and the same results for as long as the board of directors and the share holders allow it to occur, and change for the better only occurs when a new CEO is brought in.

There are hundreds of companies that have followed this same path to success. History clearly shows that the only difference between the ones that succeed and the ones that fail is that there was a change at the top. Does Randy have a place with IDX? Sure he does. He plays wall street very well. Somehow the board of directors need to make changes that benefit all parties involved while at the same time mainatining the required politics needed to keep this company moving forward.

As an example Jim Scullion (IDX CFO) has his hands tied behind his back because of Randy. Its the management structure at hand established by the CEO. That structure will not change until the CEO is changed. People the age of Randy do not change. This is an established fact that we all know.

Your reality examples are very good from a marketing and company support standpoint. However, it says nothing that is benefiting the share holders.

Everything in that company has changed over the last 15 years with the exception of the CEO. Maybe it is time for this change to occur and either promote Jim Scullion to make the changes that he knows need to be made or bring someone in from the outside. That is an activity that can be directly related to the benefit of the share holders.

There is no reason why a proffessional marketing company is not contracted by IDX. There is no reason why press releases have not provided by IDX. There is no reason why some type of expected earnings (good or bad) has not been published. Acompany this size knows exactly what is going on financially day to day. There is no reason why growth in sales has not been porportional to profits. All of this things are directly related as to how the CEO of the company thinks physicologically.

At this point there are only two things that will bring the stock price back up in the eyes of the wall street spectulators. 1)profits,2) CEO change.
All of us who read this thread are very interested in your comments on this.
