This is such a bizarre stock--we really know nothing do we? Well, there is that one email speculating that a new company was taking over BENF, but for now, no one can post questions like, "Did anyone talk with the CEO today?" or "When is news due?". The reason is because all we have is a dream right now.
I searched Free Edgar hoping to get an old telephone number but there were no hits whatsoever on Free Edgar. Using a web search engine, I found a document dated August 1997 saying that Benefund was located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Another document from 1995 indicated that an 8-K form had been filled out by Benefund based in Colorado. Finally, a SEC document dated April 30, 1998, stated that a Robert Buchheit was BeneFund, Inc.'s vice-president of marketing and sales and a resident of Lake Mary, Florida.
Florida, Oklahoma, Colorado...who knows where Benefund is located?
Even when a person finds a few hits it still doesn't form a cohesive picture.
On a personal note, I'm having fun so far. It's always nice to think you're sitting on a 10-bagger, perhaps like a prisoner who for no reason other than a rumor thinks he's going to be given parole within a week. If it doesn't happen, he will brush himself off, feel foolish for having thought the unthinkable, and get on with the business of being miserable again. Likewise I'll feel like an idiot and a fool since I invested over $1,000 in this venture. But hey, I recently came off a three bagger on PRWT, so while I don't really picture myself as someone with money to burn, on the other hand, I suppose that in some ways I do.
