Taoman, is it me or does everyone feel like we're in a bloody war here? I mean, we've got the troops amassed and moving forward to 2000 when we get an airstrike: "Captain, PTUS is hit. PTUS is hit! He's lost his arms, but I think he'll recover. Oh no, land mine; there go the legs! VIAS, go look after PTUS."

"VIAS, don't give me that stuff about being tired. Ooooo. VIAS just had a heart attack. Medic! Someone, please, a report from the field!"

"Sir, ALYD was shot down and is undergoing reconstructive surgery. CSGI took a wrong turn and was gunned down. They lost their squad leader. DSYS just fell off a cliff and exploded. Despite their camouflage as not being an artillery company, SEEC was found and shelled unmercifully. TAVA is pinned behind a hill; each time he pokes his head up he's shot back down. And ZITL, that son of a gun has more lives than a pack of alley cats."

"Some good news from the front lines, though. Company CMND has regrouped and it trying to mount an offensive, and Companies IMRS and SYNT have shown some strength of late. As long as we can keep sending in reinforcements, we just might be able to hold our position."
