COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998--dakota imaging, inc., a leader in automated forms processing solutions for UNIX based production environments, announced today that the Company signed an exclusive distribution agreement with TiS, Top Image Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:TISAF - news, TISWF - news). Under terms of the ground-breaking agreement, dakota has sole North American distribution rights to the TiS product AFPSPro. AFPSPro, an automatic forms processing system based on Windows NT, recently won the coveted Best of Show Award for AIIM 1998.

The agreement, estimated at approximately $6 million US dollars, will allow dakota imaging to offer a suite of automated forms processing solutions. daktoa's flagship product, Transform, with its robust UNIX platform will continue to be the leader in high-volume transaction processing. The TiS product will fulfill the industry's need for a leading edge Windows NT offering.
