JJC: The reason you may be perplexed is because of the information lag time. The institutions knew all this news a month ago and took down the prices of AMAT, KLIC and KLAC accordingly. That information is hitting our wires now and we stand here playing pocket pool wondering why the stock price doesn't continue to drop through the floor. The same thing will happen in an uptrend. Some will sit here and wonder why the stock is headed north with the outlook so dismal as is then being reported by the press at that moment. At that time, we will be reading old news and the institutions will be acting on their best guess based upon current information. That is why IMO it is best to focus on the future and turnaround factors as much as possible.
