So RudeDog, it sounds like in many points we do agree. Where we part paths is that I believe that for the next 2 years starting this summer (after the WIN98 release hype simmers down - whch from all the trade press appears that it wont take too long) the MSFt stock price will start to decline back into the 80s (and possibly even lower).

Today's news on ZDnet stated that PC makers are telling customers to delay installing Win98 until MSFT releases bug fixes and Bios fixes. Front Page of Canada Computing had the heading "MSFT releases WIN98 - but who really cares?".

So we will see if MSFT will be hurting over the next 2 years or not.
