''Motoplan-JEVCO'', the largest motorcycle insurance company in Quebec. This
is an attempt to curb the astronomical financial losses due to theft.
RANKIN RESEARCH CORPORATION has developed the Canada's first underwriter
approved stolen motorcycle tracking and recovery system. The unit is small,
waterproof and consumes very little energy from the smaller capacity
motorcycle batteries.
Starting immediately, every ''Motoplan-JEVCO'' motorcycle insurance policy
holder will enjoy the protection of the Boomerang stolen motorcycle recovery
system at an incredibly affordable price. ''Motoplan-Jevco'' will pay for the
$ 4.95 monthly monitoring service and offer rebates on the policy of up to 35%
of the entire premium. Furthermore, for higher end motorcycle owners who
install the Boomerang system, theft claims will not be limited to the current
$19,000.00 CAD ceiling.
This is a pilot program for the first year. Based on new knowledge
acquired this season, the program will be adjusted accordingly.
To date, using the Bell Mobility Cellular network, Boomerang has found
100% of its client's vehicles, assets, cargo, heavy equipment, and even
Laptops. A total of 6M$ worth in under 1 year.
