ROS absolutely is another sensible name to watch in Russia. The good thing with ROS and VIP is that they are traded on the NYSE, meaning their bookkeeping is up to GAAP. As far as I know, ROS is the fixed line telecom operator whereas VIP is mobile phones. Thanks for the Russia Today link. I didn't know it :-) Thomas
