My bullishness was merely a reaction to the fact that I have felt that all along all this company needed was a little PR, my hopes were that maybe this was the catalyst that could push it back to its previous highs... Guess I was wrong....
Obviously it was a little premature, as for some reason, while most other techs were screaming today, it was losing, a little profit taking?? or is there something else we need to worry about???
I know I will probably get flamed again, but I am really surprised that this one has not taken off with the Intel news.....
Margin?? I understand margin completely, but when MRVC was going up a dollar or two every day, it was difficult not to leverage my position, hell, it was working great for a while, and yes I did make some money off of MRVC, I just gave a chunk of it back recently.... (and I am not whining about it, I know it is part of the game);
I didn't make any bets I couldn't back up, I just hate giving up gains, when if I had just used my head and gotten out, when I saw the writing on the wall, I would have preserved most of those gains.....
Well maybe I am the perfect contrarian barometer, Because I got out this morning when I saw it lagging behind the rest of the techs, In my opinion (which obviously doesn't mean much), this lag is very bad for this one, I still feel that it should have moved more than it did, and yes maybe it was premature to take my money off the table again, but at least this time I took a little profit off with it, I do not want to be staring at a $16 or $17 stock, and wishing I had sold at $23 or $24 when I had the chance....
So to anyone watching this barometer, it would be telling you to BUY!!! (especially since I bought puts today)

P.S. Dana, I apologize about the "prefer men thing". You win, everything you said is true.... Now may I please express my opinions without being TORCHED??? Or at least if you do, please keep it civil, and direct it at my crappy trading, I promise you could say things about my trading as I said to myself recently!!! If I am wrong, well, hell I am the only one losing my money, after all I have never claimed to be a Wall Street guru.... Guess I am the only one out here who makes dumb trades huh??? (By the way, my wife is beautiful, and I am not even drunk!!!) |
