Yes, real-time, streaming option quotes are available but you have to register for options trading (i.e. complete the OPRA paperwork) before they turn them on for you.

The more questions I ask, the more I'm sensing that if you're doing anything other than trading options for 'speculative' purposes, you probably don't want to do that w/MBT. I.e. covered writing, spreads, etc. do that elsewhere. While you can probably do anything at MBT, for now the procedures are sufficiently cumbersome that you'd want an account elsewhere for that type of trading. Just my opinion...

FWIW, I, too, am not really a 'day trader'. I've signed on w/MBT simply because I can get fast executions and I'll bet I can make back the $300/month because I'll be able to get into/out of trades that I simply couldn't do w/my other brokers due to the delays between the time I place an order & the time they get it out on the market. I can also trade at the open and close which I simply cannot do w/my other brokers because they need so much time to process orders. I literally just started w/MBT so we shall see how it goes.
