Correction to NIR fair value number + link for W.F. re: methyl chloride ban

In post #687 I provided some feedback with a (former) floor trader (now trading independently from home - Oh if I could only do that in a few years) that I had yesterday which included his take on a fair value for NIR. In my post I said that - `I hoped that I took the numbers down correctly' - I didn't. I've just checked my PM's and he is his correction to my post.

+++++++++++++++
DAVE YOU GOT THE NUMBERS WRONG. WITH A P/E ASSUMPTION OF 20 AND A PROFIT MARGIN OF 25%, THEY NEED 14 MILLION IN SALES TO SUPPORT A $2 SHARE PRICE (EVERY $7 MILLION IN SALES IS WORTH $1 SO $14 MILLION IN SALES EQUATED TO A SHARE PRICE OF $2, 21 MILLION IN SALES EQUATES TO AN APPROX. SHARE PRICE OF $3 ETC)
+++++++++++++++

He also tested SV-35A today at a body shop - somewhere in Canada - but asked me only to post the correction above - so I'll respect his wishes.

However - it drives me nuts sometimes when I get information that everyone should be able to read and folks ask me not to make it public!! What I will say - without providing details (unless "you know who you are" would like everyone else to know) is that the results were what I would expect now and what we have heard many times for these revolutionary products - "miraculous".

I hope that "you know who you are" now understands our excitement about Napier and Aquasol and the enormous potential these products represent for such a wide variety of markets. Just look at the big players who are linked to Napier: Ford (Fortune 500 #2), Amoco (Fortune 500 #19), Textron (parent of Cessna Aircraft - Fortune 500 #158), ICI (world's largest chemical company), CCL Industries (parent of K-G Packaging - world's largest contract chemical a packager), US Navy, meets Boeing's and McDonnell Douglas's specifications for example.

The News over the next year or two is going to make for some great reading - and put a rocket under NIR's share price! How can you determine a number for Napier's potential sales within any of those market segments right now - isn't it too early?

Yes - Napier will receive some stiff competition at some stage - but there is NONE there now for an equivalent product - and may now be for a while. So what a wonderful opportunity to rapidly expand your customer base and establish (hopefully) long term relationships with repeat customers!

W.F. - take another look at the April 15 news:

biz.yahoo.com

...
"...The product was originally engineered as an environmentally benign replacement for extremely hazardous stripping agents like methylene chloride which is being regulated out of use by August 1998 due to its carcinogenic side effects. The SV-35 series emit no toxic air pollutants or hazardous air pollutants, they are non-toxic, non-hazardous and are fully biodegradable."
...

Here's the patent information again for SV-35:

patents.ibm.com

I don't have a direct link to the US regulations that specifically refer to the methyl chloride (and similar) products ban - someone else may have it for us.

I absolutely MUST get a report completed by Sunday lunch time - so I don't have time to find it. However, it should be simple enough to find more definitive information - a call to the EPA should be all that it takes - or a visit to their web site - or call TWA in St. Louis - they aren't too far from you.

I thought the ban was September - from the 15 April news (above) it's AUGUST - when's that?!!!! Just 27 DAYS away!!!! What will that do for July/August/September SALES numbers?!!!!!

For myself and others this is a "No guts - no glory - we're going long - play for NIR". It's not something we're doing on a whim - we have a very good feel for the company, products and potential - we've done a lot of research - shared our findings - now it's time to make some $$$$!!

Ps. I'll be at the Ferrari dealer on Steeles Ave. in Toronto on Monday. If someone sees a red blur on the 400/401/403/407/427/QEW or Gardiner Expressway sometime in the early afternoon - it's me test driving either a 512 TR or maybe an F-50!!

NIR - you go BABY!!!!
